Held the second Friday and Saturday of each July, the annual South Loup River Blues Festival is an event to mark on your calendar every year. Over the years, such headliners as Delta Highway, Big James & the Chicago Playboys, Tinsley Ellis, Roxanne Potvin, Jimmy Thackery, Tab Benoit, Corey Stevens, W.C. Clark, the Bel Airs, Kris Lager Band, Matt "Guitar" Murphy, Coco Montoya, Omar & The Howlers, Hadden Sayers, Chris Duarte, James Harman, Anthony Gomes, Ana Popovic, Honeytribe, and Big Daddy Kinsey and the Kinsey Report, have graced the stage at Old Mill Park in Arnold, Nebraska.
