Camping/Lodging:

There is free camping around the festival site.  We just ask that units with generators try to be respectful of their neighbors.  Also, keep in mind that there are no electrical hook-ups anywhere on the festival grounds.

Camping is also available at the former Arnold State Recreational Area located 1/2 mile south of Arnold on Highway 40. The 40-acre state park has picnic tables, grills, 20 electrical camper hook-ups, outdoor privies and a playground. The park can hold up to 60 camper units and offers a 5-acre lake for boating and fishing. The Village of Arnold now operates the park so state laws regarding a park permit and alcohol no longer pertain as in the past.  There are no reservations for the electrical hook-ups...so keep in mind it is strictly a first-come basis.  Try and get there early if you can!  Costs are $10 per night for electrical hook-ups and $6 per night without electricity.

The Village of Arnold will once again open the swimming pool in the morning and allow people to use the showers.  The cost is $2 per person.  We greatly appreciate their help in making this service available.  The pool is located just north of the festival site.

The Winfield Inn & Suites, a new motel right in Arnold, is also now open.  However, call right away as there is a chance no rooms will be available if you wait too long!  There number is 308-848-2462 and if all rooms are booked, they could add you to a cancellation list.  You can also check on available lodging in Broken Bow, Gothenburg or North Platte, all about 35-40 minutes from Arnold.

Food and refreshments

Beer and food provided by an assortment of great vendors are available at the field.  Please remember that no alcoholic beverages are allowed to pass the gate and because of the liquor license we cannot allow coolers on the field. And, because we don't want anyone getting hurt, we ask that no glass containers of any sort are on the field.   ID must be presented in order to get a 21+ wristband and buy beer!

If camping, you are welcome to bring along your own food and beverages as long as nothing comes onto the field. And, keep in mind that there are several restaurants in Arnold, as well as a grocery store and convenience store.

More about Arnold, Nebraska:

Arnold is one of the friendliest communities you will find and blues fans are welcomed each year with warm hospitality.  In fact, several friendships have formed over the past 15 years between the people of Arnold and festival attendees who come to this town from all over the country and the world!  Check out all Arnold has to offer you when you get here for the festival by visiting their new website www.arnoldne.org
